Next generation submarine, HMS Astute, surpasses expectations on trials

Britain's most advanced hunter-killer submarine returned home after a 142-day deployment in North American waters for extensive trials in which she ‘battled’ against USS New Mexico, America’s newest and best Virginia-class hunter attack submarine. Astute deep dived, fired her Tomahawk Land Attack Missiles… and over the course of the deployment sailed 16,400 miles.

Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
