Maersk Considers More Layoffs at Shipyard

According to a June 15 report from The Journal of Commerce, A.P. Moller-Maersk is considering an additional 175 layoffs at its Danish shipyard because of a lack of orders.

The Copenhagen-based shipping and energy group also said the loss-making Odense Steel shipyard, which has built the world’s biggest container ships, has agreed to delay the delivery of three ships.
