Electric Boat Contract Modified

Electric Boat Corp., Groton, Conn., is being awarded a $12,784,287 modification to previously awarded contract (N00024-04-C-2100) for consolidated design agent, planning yard, engineering and technical support for active nuclear submarines. Work will be performed in Groton, Conn. (85 percent); Kings Bay, Ga. (8 percent); Bangor, Wash. (6 percent); and Quonset, R.I. (1 percent), and is expected to be completed by September 2006. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
