Ferries Blocked By Strike

Five cross-Channel ferries have been blocked in French ports since Monday because of a strike by workers over plans to cut the work week, their operator, Brittany Ferries, said. Several dozen passengers and trucks were stranded in the ports of Ouistreham, Cherbourg and Roscoff because of the strike, a spokesman of the company said. - (Reuters)
