Frontline's Goal: Zero Emissions

Frontline, the world's largest tanker company, is now developing methods capable of reclaim all polluting gases produced during sea transport. Its vessel Front Granite has successfully tested the new technology developed in co-operation with the small Norwegian firm Venturie AS. This new technology reportedly eliminates the problem with pollution gases during operation, and testing has been so positive that Frontline intends to install it on all its oil cargo ships. The technology developed is also promising for solving several other environmental problems both on land and at sea.
Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
