French engineering firm GTT has received an order from an Asian shipyard for the tank design of two new very large ethane carriers (VLECsi) on behalf of an Asian ship-owner.
The total tank capacity of each of these two ethane carriers will be 100,000 m3 and the tanks will be fitted with GTT’s Mark III membrane containment system.
Delivery of the vessels is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2028.
