Wynn Marine, manufacturer of heavy duty marine window wiper systems for ocean going vessels, has been granted a contract worth more than $100,000 from Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea. The contract calls for Wynn to supply wiper systems for two new RoPax Passenger Ships for Stena Line in Sweden.

Wynn will supply more than 40 Pantograph wiper units, Type 1762 per ship. These will be controlled by the new Wynn Series 3000 Network wiper control system, which in turn will be used to control the wiper equipment as well as other equipment on the bridge such as heated windows and navigation lights.

With the advent of fuel transition, digitalization, AI and autonomy, innovation in vessel design and operation proceeds at unprecedented speed.
