Mercury Inflatable Boats, a division of industry-leader Mercury Marine, is unveiling its remarkable new line of V Series Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs) Nov. 3-6 at the Fort Lauderdale, Fla. International Boat Show. The V Series includes five center-console RIBs built to fit a plethora of applications. The entire line - from the seven-person V-400 at 13 feet, 1 inch, to the 17-person V-620 at 20 feet, 2 inches - is loaded with standard features typically found only on the most expensive RIBs. Each model has a fast-planing V-hull design, large-diameter tubes for a smooth ride, generous storage space and internal and external grab lines for safety and convenience. The V-520 can be seen in Fort Lauderdale at the AquaScan Inflatables display, located in booth No. 1082 at the Bahia Mar portion of the show. V Series hulls are made with the exclusive Vitech vacuum injection technology for the ultimate in performance and durability. Tubes are made of Hypalon, a premium-quality, heavy-duty fabric that provides outstanding resistance to abrasion, hydrocarbons, flame, ultraviolet light and fading. Hypalon is so resilient that Mercury Inflatable Boats backs the fabric with a 10-year limited warranty. All models in the V Series are white with navy blue accents. These boats are designed to offer quality and capacity without compromising a high level of comfort and security. From tubing and wakeboarding to fishing and coastal cruising, the V Series is the perfect boat for just about any on-water activity. Maximum horsepower varies by model from 40 hp on the V-400 to 150 hp on the V-620. Recommended power for the V Series is Mercury OptiMax or Mercury FourStroke engines.
Trite but true, the path to decarbonization has no ‘silver bullet’ solution.
