FMC Grants APL Petition

The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) issued an Order granting the petition of American President Lines and APL for exemption from the restrictions of section 16 of the Shipping Act of 1984 and permitting those controlled carriers to lower tariff rates on less than 30 days notice.
