President Bush Awards Presidential Unit Citation to Coast Guard

President George W. Bush officiated at the Commandant’s Change of Command as Admiral Thomas H. Collins retired and Admiral Thad Allen assumed command as the Commandant. In recognition of the exceptional service rendered during Hurricane Katrina, the US Coast Guard was awarded the Presidential Unit Citation. Source: HK Law
