LNG Terminals: Pre-Filing Procedures

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) issued its rule establishing procedures requiring prospective applicants for FERC authorization to site and construct a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal to begin the agency’s pre-filing review process at least six months prior to filing an application.
