DHS Awards $168m in Port Security Grants

The Department of Homeland Security issued a press release stating that $399 million is being awarded to secure critical infrastructure. As detailed in the FY2006 Infrastructure Protection Program, $168,052,500 is being provided in port security grants to specific projects in 50 critical seaports.
