End of 145 Years of Shipbuilding

According to an April 6 report from the Telegraph, one hundred and forty-five years of production at Swan Hunter, one of the world's most famous shipbuilders in the UK, has ended after its last cranes left the Tyne bound for India. The last cranes, from the yard's floating dry dock, are the sixth and final consignment. The equipment has been bought by Indian company Bharati Shipyards.
