Suspicious Activity Reporting Criteria

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) jointly issued suspicious activity reporting criteria for infrastructure owners and operators. The agencies ask owners and operators of critical infrastructure (including maritime facilities) to report suspicious activities potentially indicative of pre-operational terrorist planning. This includes such things as attempts to test or conduct reconnaissance of security operations, persons showing uncommon interest in the facility, or stolen or missing company identification documents or uniforms.
